Akwa Ibom-native and burgeoning Singer/Songwriter EYO Eminue burst unto the Nigerian music scene in 2010 when he was crowned the second runner up at MTN’s Project Fame West Africa Season 3 and has since grown from strength to strength in his musical career.
EYO began singing at the age of 12 and as a teenager, became the lead singer of an acapella group, Yahweh Klan but went solo in university. Eyo was also the lead singer for his local church choir in Uyo called Power Voices International.
Outside of the music landscape, EYO’s love and compassion for children has lead to the creation of The EYO Initiative - an initiative which is contributing immensely to the eradication of child molestation, abuse and stigmatisation in Nigeria. Eyo is further poised to make a difference in the society with his IBOM EXCELLENCE AWARDS which is geared at recognising, encouraging and rewarding excellence in all spheres of life.
His new single titled “Wedding Day” is sure to be a rocker…
